Our goal is to introduce kids to what a period is in a way that’s both accessible and easy to understand.
We aim to demystify the entire process, from understanding how and why menstruation happens, to managing it.
The Period Academy is hosted at the South Pasadena Women’s Club. There is considerable street parking available around the venue.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the session to ensure time to get checked in and settled. The venue is ADA accessible.
In-person events require an adult to attend with each child.
Our period talks are now available in Los Angeles, with more cities in the United States being added soon.

A period talk for private groups like schools, a group of friends, or Girl Scouts helps kids learn about their bodies in a fun and friendly way, building confidence and making the topic feel less intimidating.
Plus, being within a trusted community provides a relaxed setting, making it easier for them to feel good about what they’re learning.
Our period talks provide a positive and fun experience that strengthens your relationship and empowers your kid.
In addition, they create a lasting connection and allow kids to see that periods are perfectly natural and nothing to be shy about.
We’re passionate about creating a safe space for kids to ask questions and learn about this normal part of life. Let us help you kick off the conversation with our clear, accurate, and approachable period talk.
